Story Ideas:

The BBB operates one of the most extensive media and public relations efforts in the city. We offer a wide range of story ideas on consumer, business, charity, and advertising topics. Our subject matter ranges from undercover investigations of scams to helpful business and consumer shopping tips. We are featured heavily in local media venues and, on occasion, we work with national publications and television news magazines. The Better Business Bureau Silver Sleuths program and the Young Consumer Advocate Program each feature a volunteer pool of undercover shoppers that may be available for your next investigative story.

Publications:

A host of publications and educational materials are produced "in-house" by Bureau staff to provide support to member companies, their employees, and the public.

News Releases:

The Bureau issues news releases in two different formats:

1. Our "BBB Tips" format is broadcast bi-weekly to all media in our service area. The articles feature "ready to use" news that is rarely restricted by time of placement. 

2. Our "logo only" news releases focus on timely stories about specific companies, Bureau programs, and major events.
